Willow Lake

Third Annual "Try a Kayak" event. No experience necessary! Those of you with a kayak, paddle board or other water-kraft, come prepared to share the delights of paddling with those members who have thought it would be fun to paddle, but don't know what gear to buy. Instruction will be available from several seasoned paddlers. We will be planning several fun paddles this summer!

Does a sit-atop feel better than a sit-inside? What kind of paddle would be best for me? (Hint: buy the best paddle you can afford, as that makes a BIG difference when paddling for several hours).

How 'bout those SUPs? Stand-up paddle boards? Hey, some come with a seat!

Even if you don't feel like trying a kayak, bring a picnic and chairs to enjoy the Spring evening. Moonrise is at 6:35 that evening, and it should be beautiful reflecting on the water with Mt. McLoughlin in the distance!

Life jackets are mandatory, but you can probably borrow one if you can't bring your own. We will have extras there.
